Unable to do the Work Set

cant do the work

WHAT CAN WE DO?

Classes of ‘mixed ability’ pupils will require differentiated tasks to enable all pupils to meet the learning objectives. If the work set is either too easy or too difficult, pupils will become dissatisfied and may lose confidence in the teacher.

SO

Try to make sure that you have a range of differentiated tasks for each lesson.

Offering a range of differentiated tasks will ensure that all pupils are able to participate in the lesson at their own level.

It is likely in today’s climate of ‘Inclusive’ education that classes may include pupils with physical, visual or hearing disabilities. If arrangements are not made to ensure that these pupils can fully participate in the lesson, through provision of specific resources such as enlarged text, they will become frustrated and bored.

SO

Make sure that you have all the resources you need for the class that you are teaching.

By ensuring that you meet the needs of these pupils, you will gain their confidence and respect and eliminate boredom.
