Nurture Groups
Nurture Groups/Units have been highlighted as an example of successful intervention in children showing signs of social, emotional and behavioural difficulties (Excellence For All Children; Meeting Special Educational Needs, Green Paper 1997).
Although predominantly a feature of Pre-School and Primary education, Nurture Groups are becoming more common in Secondary schools.
